Hello All. Its been way too long since we have seen each other. In fact, most of us haven't met each others spouses and kids. So I suppose it is time for a family reunion.
This reunion could be the last time we all get together with Grandpa and Grandma. Last year when they were visiting in Arizona I had the opportunity to video tape seven or so hours of them giving oral history as well as telling great stories. I want to continue this project with stories and memories we have all had with them. I will be bringing all of my video equipment and will give everyone ample time to relate their memories. I will then compile all unedited videos on a series of DVDs. I will also edit together a shorter version with highligts from all interviews and footage from the reunion. We will also have many professional photographers (my wife, Julie and Sara) to compile a great slide show. (You are all encourage to take photos as well...we will gather them all to dispurse to everyone)
In addition to all of this, we will also have a great program to honor Grandpa and Grandma. Any ideas and input is appreciated for the planning of this program. Lets not procrasitnate on this. Please check back here often for updates and discussion on this great event.
